Animal Welfare Camps

• ACRD organised two domestic animal check-up camps in the following villages -- Podupara, Dudhnoi, Kaharpara in Goalpara and Kamrup district during 2015. The Institute of Farm Management, Rani; College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati; and the local Veterinary Sub-centres in the villages provided voluntary support by providing medical services and medicines etc. More than 2,000 cows, goats, pigs and buffaloes were given health services including medicines, vitamins and vaccines.
